About
Phantom Press is Lord Byng’s student-run, independent newspaper. The publication aims to publish throughout the year and covers staff and student-related topics objectively and professionally. For distribution to the student body and community, our team of student journalists conducts research, writes, and edits articles on a broad range of subjects and concerns for Byng's newspaper. As a club, we want to give our Byng community accurate, trustworthy, and timely news while also giving journalists a platform and a place to freely express themselves.
Phantom Press encourages editorials, opinion pieces, and creative works, allowing students to discuss the issues that matter to them. Additionally, participating in Phantom Press provides students with valuable opportunities to develop skills in journalism, including researching, writing, editing, and critical thinking.

Charlie Chen
Director
I facilitate regular meetings to address progress, challenges, and plans while overseeing the schedule of events and assigning tasks. I also create presentations to guide the team and foster a positive environment to keep the publication on track.

Dharaneeswar Dadibathina
Web Design and Layout
I design, develop, and maintain the online platform for the newspaper, ensuring it is user-friendly, visually appealing, and up-to-date. I troubleshoot technical issues, provide timely solutions, and ensure the website is secure and compliant with relevant regulations.

Julian Cohen Wood
Social Media and Promotions
I manage and maintain the newspaper’s social media, ensuring it is engaging, informative, and up-to-date. I promote content by posting weekly summaries of meetings, notifications of upcoming events, and other relevant updates.

Leo Ke
Executive Editor
I create PowerPoint presentations for editing and writing, providing clear guidelines and tools for the articles. I review, edit, and approve all articles before publication to maintain the newspaper’s quality and standards.

Lucca Ha
Secretary
I handle the newspaper’s finances, keeping track of expenses, and organizing fundraising activities. I also make sure the club runs smoothly by managing attendance and coordinating activities.
